Dues and Payouts
League dues are $150 per team, paid via Venmo to @mattdecrevel.
We use a two-year dues system: every owner must have both the current and the next season's dues on file, paying a full season in advance. (For example, 2027 dues are collected during the 2026 season.) This ensures every team will be there and managed, and prevents collusion and disengaged owners. (Amendment 2025.06.23)
With 12 teams the total pot is $1,800, paid out as:
- 1st place: $990 (55%)
- 2nd place: $360 (20%)
- 3rd place: $180 (10%)
- Repeat Champions pot: $180 (10%)
- Regular season points: $90 (5%)
Repeat Champions Pot
Each season, an amount equal to one team's dues is taken from the current season's pot and placed into a separate Repeat Champions pot. This pot rolls over continually and is collected when a manager repeats as champion — it keeps growing until someone wins the league two consecutive seasons.
League Hosting, Scoring, and Rosters
The league is hosted on Sleeper.
Roster positions: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, FLEX (W/R/T), K, DEF, 6 Bench, 1 IR — 15 players plus an IR spot.
Scoring is Standard + PPR, with 2 points for a Special Teams fumble recovery. Fractional and negative points are allowed.
Player Acquisition
After the draft, all players become free agents. Waivers run weekly Sunday through Tuesday using FAAB bidding.
Each season the FAAB budget is $100. FAAB does not roll over, but it is tradable. $0 bids are acceptable.
Trades
If trades are submitted and accepted, they are allowed. We are all big boys — there are no commissioner or league votes on trades. The trade deadline is Week 11.
Trading of draft picks and FAAB is allowed.
Off-season trades can happen at any time as long as rosters are not frozen. It's common and acceptable to trade leading up to the draft — for a pick to keep one of your players, or for a player you'd like to keep.
Draft
We use a standard snake draft: 1–12, 12–1, and so on. The draft occurs one to two weeks before regular-season kickoff; if a slow draft is set, it starts on the second-to-last Wednesday in August.
Draft Order
Draft order is the reverse of the final standings:
- The top 4 picks are decided by the results of the consolation bracket — the winner of that bracket gets the 1st pick, and so on.
- The inverse of the winners/championship bracket makes up the final 6 picks: the last-place playoff team picks 7th, and the league champion picks 12th.
- Expansion teams are moved to the front of the order and assume the 1st or 2nd overall picks.
